Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Switching systems are required to be operated on multimedia informations in high speed, and a new high-performance switching system model is needed to be developed. We have proposed a multi-agent-oriented call processing model, which is based on message-flow-based massively parallel processing paradigm. In order to show that our proposed model is effective for implementing high-performance multimedia switching system, we have built a experimental software system which consists of a multi-agent kernel and an application program. This expermental system runs on UNIX process / thread environment. In this paper we present the experimental system of our proposed model and a preliminary evaluation of the system.
