A Study on Autonomous Train System

Abstract(in English) We propose a railway system for autonomous trains which recognize various kinds of rail environments. In this system, trains on which mounted intelligence not only execute knowledge processing, but also be backed up by control center combined with other railway systems. In this report, we discuss the overall architecture of the autonomous train system, and we clear the requirements for each elementts which compose the system. Finally we consider relation between functions and technology required for this system.
