Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently developed signaling for bandwidth negotiation and progress in voice and video coding technologies have made it possible for users to select a bit rate for communication at call request. We consider a network having a mechanism to transmit price information changed at every moment according to network status. In this paper, we treat an optimal pricing problem for the network to maximize economical effectiveness for users on an assumption of user behaviors. Numerical examples are presented to examine the effectiveness.
