Abstract(in English) | The rate control, which applies to the flow control in the ABR service, has an issue of low efficiency when the control delay between a source end system and a destination is long. To introduve VS/VDs on ABR connections will be a solution to reduce the control delay. In this paper, we propose the method of introducing VS/VDs on ABR connections, and evaluate the characteristic of the proposed method by simulation. As a result, we show that our proposed method can prevent a bad efficiency of ABR rate control by the long control delay. |
