Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, Internet Technology becomes so popular, and there is a report saying that the scale of networks in our office grows double year by year. Therefore, Network Fault Management becomes very difficult task from the scalability point of view. In order to overcome this difficulty of scalability, we are developing Autonomous Distributed Network Management Software. Our system consists of many autonomous network management software, and each software performs fault isolation in each domain of the managed network autonomously. In order to describe the behavior of many network software, we designed Software Component for Autonomous Network Fault Management (NetScript). In this paper, we introduce NetScript and show an example of network fault management tasks described by using NetScript.
