Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the network where resources are not guaranteed, real time video transport is very sensitive to congestion of network, which causes delay, jitter and loss of data hence it causes the degradation of the quality of video. Therefore it is necessary to transport video efficiently corresponding to the state of congestion. In this paper, we propose a real time transport scheme of MPEG encoded video under the rate-based congestion control of ABR service class. Using feedback information, video sending rate is dynamically changed by changing quantizer scale in encoding. The rudimentary performance of the proposed scheme is also shown by simulation result.
