Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IN the Gigabit Network, the typical window based flow control scheme for conventional data transmission is not, practical. In particuler, large volume data transmission over longer distance, the throughput gets lower than transmitting over shorter distance because of windowsize limitation. WABT control can be applied to overcome this problem. However, buffer overflow at receiver side loses more data as connection speed becomes higher. In this paper, we propose an approach to improve this dataloss problem and evaluate its performance through simulation. Main feature of the proposed flow control is to install the Relay Buffering Nodes with some repeating distance satisfying the delay-time-bandwidth product.
