Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes routing system architecture suitable for a global networking service platform. In this platform, overlay internetwork architecture is employed in order to design routing system architecture independent of forwarding system architecture. In our routing system architecture, an AS (autonomous system) is recursively divided so that routing information should be aggregated. Thus routing processing load is reduced even if network scale is expanded. The aggregated routing information is statically utilized to guarantee reachability for all destination candidates. Since routing information aggregation makes forwarding routes verbose, non-aggregated information for cut-through forwarding is also utilized on demand. This dynamic routing information is useful to improve forwarding performance.
