| 抄録(和) | インターネット上で公開された電子的な著作物は操作が容易なため,大量の著作権侵害の可能性が大きな問題となっている.また,従来インターネット利用者の権利意識の低さもいくつか指摘されている.しかしながら,インターネット上の著作物に関する権利意識を定量的に調査した報告は未だ行われていない.本稿では,1996年10月25日現在JPNIC(日本ネットワークインフォメーションセンター)に登録されている8736個のドメインに対応するWWWのホームページ上の著作権に関する注意書きを収集し,著作権者の権利意識を定量的に調査した.その結果,(1)著作権に関する注意書きのあったページは全体では36.6%である,(2)個別の権利に触れたページはわずか5.4%である,(3)自らのホームページ上の著作物をどう扱わせたいかを指示しているホームページはさらに少なく1.9%である,ことが分かった. |
| 抄録(英) | The possibility of many infringements of copyright for materials on the Internet appears to have become an issue because it is easy to manipulate electronic publications which are accessible to the public on the Internet. In addition, it has been pointed out that many internet users may not yet have a clear awareness of copyrights. However, no data concerning the exact extent of awareness concerning copyrights for materials on Internet has been published. For this study. we collected copyright notices from homepages in the 8736 domains registered with JPNIC (Japan Network Information Center) on 25th October 1996 and then among the authors of copyrighted materials we examined the extent of their awareness of their rights in numerical terms. The results are follows, (1)Home Pages on which there are notices about copyrights account for 36.6% in all (2)Home Pages that mention on individual copyright account to 5.4% (3)Home Pages that describe in detail how the copyrighted materials are to be used are 1.9% |
