| 抄録(和) | オブジェクトベース符号化では、オブジェクト領域の内外を示す形状の符号化が必要である。本稿では、隣接する輪郭点の方向ベクトルにウェーブレット変換したときの変換係数をウェーブレット記述子と定義し、ウェーブレット記述子を用いたロスレス形状符号化を提案する。提案方式では、マルコフモデルを仮定してウェーブレット記述子を算術符号化する。また、提案方式を動オブジェクト形状の符号化へと拡張するために、輪郭方向ベクトルに対する動き情報も用いて符号化を行う。MPEG-4形状符号化方式と比較を行い、提案方式が符号化効率において有効であることを確認したので、その結果を報告する。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper proposes a lossless shape coding method. The coding scheme is based on the arithmetic coding for the wavelet descriptor. In this method, the wavelet descriptor is obtained by the wavelet transformation for the contour direction vectors along the shape contour. In order to encode the moving shape efficiently, we also define motion parameter detected by the matching method for the contour direction vectors. The simulation result shows that the proposed shape coding method is more efficient than that of MPEG-4. |
