Abstract(in English) | A New halftone method using a Hopfield neural network is proposed.″White″ pixels and ″black″ pixels are arranged so that the difference between the average brightness of each local area of a continuous tone picture and that of a bilevel picture becomes minimum for all local areas.The neural network looks for the arrangement by solving the optimization problem. |
