| Abstract(in English) | In these days,there are many studies about EDTV2.EDTV2 has not only an improved quality and extended definition,but also compatibility to CDTV(Conventional Definition TV)in frequency bandwidth and TV receiver.In order to transmit 2 Channel of EDTV2 programs via 27MHz Transponder,we modified the MUCCS 45(Multi- channel TV Coding System).First,we analyze problems which occur in the case of using a conventional MUCCS45.Then we employ the following techniques to solve the problems:1)Four types of quantizers adaptive swiching according to the block position 2)Bit allocation suitable to the block having a boundary between image and supplemental signal.As a result,we achieved 2.5£dB!improvement in SNR and better subjective quality. |
