Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Internet is a world-wide computer network formed by the connection of more than six million hosts. Several information retrieval systems are available for the Internet, and recently they have come to be regarded as information distribution systems. However, authoring documents for distribution in the network is not always an easy task. Several types of authoring tools are available, but they pose some problems. This paper proposes an authoring environment (WebCaster) for networkcasting that is newly designed for novice users. It allows anyone to compose network documents quickly and easily.
