Abstract(in English) This paper presents a spatio-temporal interpolation method using motion vector compensation and interpolating functions of nonuniformly spaced samples. In this proposed method we combine sampling points in multiple field images according to the estimated motion vector to produce a single field image where sampling points are spaced nonuniformly. A band-limited signal is reconstructed from the nonuniformly sampled data using the interpolating function. The proposed method uses the scanning conversion from interlaced images to progressive scanned images.Experimental results show that the image quality is improved with high SNR and high resolution.
