Abstract(in English) Recent years, importance of image retrieval is growing in wide variety of areas.In this research, we deal with a problem of an automatic construction of an image retrieval system which has a "Dictionary for image retrieval".We consider that a image retrieval algorithm comprises a retrieval rule and its parameta vector. Based on this idea, we develop an automatic construction and management system for image retrieval algorithm for key words such as"cars"and"mountains". In this report, we describe an overview of this system and results of some fundamental experiments for the latter part, i.e., the optimization of parameter vectors.
