Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, superresolution techniques have become indispensable methods for Direction-of-Arrival estimation with an antenna array. Array elements often have gain and phase errors, in addition to that, mutual coupling effects cannot be negligibly small in general. Performance of the superresolution array is degraded by them. To realize high-resolution DOA estimation, array calibration is necessary. In this paper, we propose an array calibration technique based on subspace concept with known sources. Results of numerical simulation by NEC2 and experiment in radio anechoic chamber are reported to show the validity of the method.
