Abstract(in English) We configure a measurement system based on a reactive-near-field probing technique by using a compact anechoic box and a low-interference multi-layer magnetic probe. An algorithm for measuring currents on an antenna under test is shown and the measured data are used to derive far field radiation pattern (array factor) according to Weight Vector Method. Far field radiation patterns obtained by the method described in this report are compared with those obtained directly from far field pattern measurement They show good agreement. Furthermore, as high as 0.93~0.998 correlation coefficients between our results and those of direct far field measurement method are obtained. We conclude that high accurate directivity of smart antennas can be obtained by taking use of the measurement system developed in this paper instead of using a large anechoic chamber.
