Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In mobile DS-CDMA systems, frequency selective fading degrades quality of receiyed signal. One of the techniques to reduce the degradation of signal quality is that of the RAKE receivers which employ adaptive weight control technique in order to be adapted to the characteristies change of channel. In this paper, the WMSA(Weight Multi-slot Averaging) method is used for channel estimation, and the DFE(Decision Feedback Equalizer) is used for the equalization processing of received signal. A wideband propagation model is used to simulate as mobile radio environments. The results of computer simulation show that degradation of error performance is mainly due to the signal level depression which occurred by fading, and the average BER can be improved with the increase of number of pilot symbols.
