Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Flooding method is used to forward packets in multihop wireless networks. Conventional flooding causes a great increase of network traffic because all nodes which succeeded in receiving a packet forward it to their all neighbors. Heavy traffic leads to an increase of collision, which results in degradation of packet arrival ratio and throughput. In this paper, we propose a packet relay control Scheme based on priority regions to reduce redundant forwarding packets. The simulation results show that proposed relay contorol scheme can reduce redundant packets relayed to the whole network without degradation of packet arrival ratio.
