Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new temperature compensation technique is proposed in order to improve temperature fluctuation characteristics of the S-band MMIC beam-forming network(BFN). Developed single-chip MMIC beamformers are effective to achieve the small size and lightweight BFN for satellite application. The circuit topology of MMIC beamformer is so simple that we cannot consider the temperature fluctuation to be negligible. The proposed compensation technique is applied to the S-band MMIC BFN, the amplitude and phase error coefficients to the temperature fluctuation are improved in about a quarter and about two third, respectively.
