Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Physical Optics(PO) is one of the powerful methods in the analyses of reflector antennas and radar cross section. However it has the disadvantage to take longer time for the surface integration in the high frequency region. We propose a new method by reducing a PO surface integral to a line integral along the boundary of the scatterer. The advantage of this method is to be able to reduce the time for fields calculation compared with the original PO. The numerical checks of RCS calculations of a disk ,a square plate, which are used as patches in graphical approximation of an arbitrary shaped object, and a cube assures the accuracy of the method.
