Estimation of EM Source Location in the City Area by Concidering Diffraction Wave.

Abstract(in English) Recently radio communication technology seeps in an extremely wide field and becomes indispensable to our world. However, on the other hand the illegality radio station is increasing which become the radio interference / jamming to these general radio communication. As for tile search of illegal radio station, estimation of location of a wave source by an inquiry of all incoming wave direction ,such as MUSIC algorithm, has been applied conventionally. However, in the technique, there is a problem that estimation of wave source location is difficult in complicated multipath environment . The purpose of this study is to estimate the location of a electromagnetic wave source in such multipath environment. An estimation method is suggested based on ray tracing method / UTD method. The effectiveness of the method is examined by numerical simulation.
