Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In multiple scattering environment, Generalized MUSIC and ESPRIT algorithms for joint estimation of instantaneous DOA and instantaneous angular spread (AS) have been proposed. These algorithms use the extended array mode vector (EAMV) with complex angle. Since the EAMV make use of the first-order Taylor series expansion, however, the accurate evaluation for DOA and AS estimates is difficult. In this paper, tile performance of joint estimation of DOA and AS using GMUSIC and ESPRIT is analyzed. For this, the spatial signature is reconstructed from the estimates of DOA and AS and evaluated in the meaning of data fitting. Moreover, in comparision with plane wave model, the increase in computational complexity of MUSIC and ESPRIT are studied. The results of analysis are illustrated by computer simulation.
