Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The current vector is defined as RF currents on the radiators of the ESPAR antenna excited by an RF transmitter. The current vector is a function of the reactanco of the varactors loaded at the radiators. The "ESPAR matrix" featuring radiators' electromagnetic coupling and varactors' reactanco is intorduced, and makes the current vector and its gradient simpler to express. The current vector plays the equivalent role to the weight vector in conventional adaptive array. The array factor of the ESPAR antenna is deduced by employing the equivalent weight vector and the steering vector. |
