Abstract(in English) This paper proposed a multipath interference canceller (MPIC) for orthogonal multiplexed channels in the WCDMA forward link and evaluates the BER performance improvement owing to multipath interference (MPI) suppression effect by MPIC by computer simulations. The simulation results shows that one-stage MPIC, which removes MPI of common pilot channel (PICH), common control channel (CCH), and synchronization channel (SCH), achieves the sufficient MPI suppression effecs, and that the required received E_b/N_0 at the average BER of 10^<-3> with MPIC for common channels can be decreased by approximately 6.5dB compared to that with matched filter (MF)-based Rake receiver (the transmit power ratio of each common channel to traffic channel (TCH) : Δ_=0dB, Δ_=5dB, Δ_=3dB, without fast transmit power control and antenna diversity reception).
