Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a TDMA slot assignment algorithm for 1 cell reuse TDMA cellular system that applies transmit power control, soft handoff and adaptive modulation techniques to achieve flexible and high quality wireless communication services, In the proposed scheme, intracell handoff is carried out for non-soft handover terminals with higher priority than the soft handover process for terminals in the soft handover region. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed algorithm can reduce outage probability and forced termination probability compared to those for random slot assignment scheme.
