Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we evaluate the performance of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) using closed-loop (CL) mode transmit diversity in the downlink of broadband wireless channel over 80 MHz bandwidth, considering the tracking ability against fading channel and the error probability of uplink channel. From the computer simulation, we reveal (1) phase control algorithm only used 3 FBI (FeedBack Information) bit has less degradation than that of used analog FBI, (2) CL mode OFDM transmit diversity is effective in the low Doppler frequency region below 100Hz, (3) CL mode OFDM transmit diversity has less degradation in total, because FBI bits on each carriers effectively work as an error correction. Phase control algorithm is better than amplitude control algorithm, considering the decoding error probability of uplink channel.
