| Abstract(in English) | The BS digital boradcasting services newly started in Japan last December. The broadband CS digital broadcasting services will start using the same technique this fall. This technique is worthy of notice because it could provide broadband networks for home users On the other hand, we have studied to apply this technique to the multimedia satellite communications. For intranet services we proposed QoS management system with the hierarchical transmission technique, which was standardized for the BS digital broadcasting services. To provide data delivery service for huge number of users, we apply the data carousel transmission technique, which is used for the BS digital broadcasting services, to our satellite communications system. This paper presents the feature and the structure of our developing the transmission station and the receive station with the IP transmission function and the data carousel transmission function based on the BS digital techniques. |
