A Design Method of Clutter Suppression Filters with Cascade Connection Using Offset of Zeros for Staggered PRF

Abstract(in English) In a search radar, staggered PRF(Pulse Repetition Frequency)is often used in order to narrow the region of blind frequency for MTI(Moving Target Indicators)or AMTI(Adaptive MTI). A clutter suppression method to use time-varying filters with cascade connection has been presented for staggered PRF. However, the suppression performance becomes degraded in the case that one of zeros of the filters coincides with those of other filters at least. In order to overcome this problem, in this report, we propose a design method of clutter suppression filters with cascade connection using offset of zeros. We also evaluate the performance of the method by computer simulations, and show an effectiveness of introducing offset of zeros.
