Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a multitarget and clutter environment, measurement-to-track data association is an essential problem. The JPDA(Joint Probabilistic Data Association)is a basic method for the problem. On the other hand, the measurements from two targets can be merged into one due to an inherent radar's resolution threshold. In this paper, we simulated JPDA tracking of two closely spaced targets with unresolved measurements on a simple resolution model. As a result, in the case of two crossing targets, the performance of track-maintainance falls into 0%, though 73% for resolved measurements.
