Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Gravity field of far side of the Moon has not been directly observed yet, since the near side always faces the Earth. Japanese lunar explorer SELENE is going to be launched in 2004, and to first observe the gravity field by measurements of 4way Doppler frequency of a main orbiter through a relay satellite in the far side. The main orbiter, however, is out of view when it flies above the far side, so that no one can recognize whether a PLO of a transponder installed in the orbiter is locked or not. We propose a new method to recognize the PLO locked or not, that is, the sweep of an up-link frequency in addition to the measurement of Doppler frequency deviations give certain information on the 4way link.
