| Abstract(in English) | Satellites for the fixed communications, broadcasting and mobile communications play an important role in the Global Information Infrastructure in the present and futere. The paper describes the present situation and perspectives of the research and development of these satellites in Japan. After key aspects and technologies of futere satellite communications are discussed, several satellite communications and broadcasting systems to be developed as attractive and powerful ones in the near future are introduced. |
