Abstract(in English) | By use of the stop band characteristics(photonic band gap:PBG)in the photonic crystal which eliminates the propagation of the light wave in the specified wavelength range, it has become possible to produce the microscopic structure devices including the sharp bend with the same order of a wavelength. Because of the fine structure, the simulation is indispensable to grasp and predict the properties of these devices. So far, analysis by FDTD and BPM have been performed. Authors have already reported to simulate the photonic crystal waveguide by the condenced node spatial network which has the merits in the treatment of medium conditions having the dispersive or the anisotropic property. In this report, the treatment the photonic crystal waveguide including the dispersive and active properties is explained and the obtained propergation characteristics are also presented. |
