Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Authors have been conducting observations of rainfall rate and rain attenuation in Ku satellite band at two stations spaced about 6 km apart since May 1999. These observational data are analyzed into not only correlation between rainfall rate and rain attenuation at each station but rain attenuation correlation between these stations. This paper shows that the rain attenuation correlation coefficients between two stations may be useful to estimate structural behavior of rain cells, moreover, cumulative distribution of rain attenuation obtained from both stations during one year would be useful information for site diversity effects estimation.
