Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we presented simulation and experimental results of millimeter-wave CPW patch antennas. The antennas are developed based on a new concept of"CPW Patch"and fabricated on a ceramics substrate which has a relatively large dielectric constant of 9.7.CPW patch antenna consists of a Patch surrounded by closely spaced ground conductor and a CPW feed line, which has a similar geometric configuration as the loop slot antenna. Simulation have been done by using a method of moment based commercial package, IE3D. Kaband CPW patch antennas were designed and fabricated. Return loss and gain were measured. The results demonstrate the performance and the usefulness of the CPW antenna. Similarity of the microstrip patch antenna and CPW patch antenna, and some design rules for the patch have been also discussed. |
