| Abstract(in English) | We tried to obtain horizontally polarized waves from a slot-array antenna on a coaxial cylinder. Horizontally polarized waves are radiated from a vertical slot, but a vertical slot cannot be excited by the TEM-mode wave in the coaxial waveguide set vertically. We therefore showed that if there were horizontal slots at the ends of the vertical slot, effective excitation would be the result if the length of the vertical part of the slot were about half the wavelength in the waveguide and the horizontal parts of the slot were connected in the same side, like a sguare bracket shape. |
