Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose to introduce optical electric sensors for array elements for a directional antenna in a borehole. Also, we will examine influence of a borehole and mutual coupling on received array signals. The optical electric sensor is an ideal electric field sensor. If the sensors are arranged in a borehole, a directional antenna in a borehole will be realized. Our experimental results showed that a borehole and mutual coupling strongly influence on the array signals. We found that theoretical results of MoM modified for the array in a borehole gave good agreement with the experimental results. This means that we can estimate directions of arrival waves with the MoM results.
