A Simple Modal Equation for a Single-Wire Line on a Boundary

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we analyzed Sommerfeld-type value problen of an infinitely wire on a boundary. By applying the traveling wave mode method, we obtained generalized distributed constants along the wire. Then, we deriver a modal equation as recurrent formula for the wire on the boundary. As a result, the equivalent permittivity for the line is differ from arithmetic mean of two media depending on the wire radius, and is complex number, which means radiating loss.
