Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The performance obtained by the network simulator(ns)is discussed when the TCP / IP is applied to satellite links with a long transmission delay and a variety of transmission error rate. The simulated results focusing on the throughput are demonstrated and analyzed as parameters of window size, queue size, packet size, error rate and so on. It is finally pointed out that the matching among these parameters is important to realize a good throughput.
