Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper deals with the satellite communication network (F-GTS Hybrid), which is combined with GSO satellite system and medium earth orbits (MEO) satellite system for ultra high bit rate information transmissions. For the system design of the F-GTS Hybrid, it must overcome rain attenuation discontinuity in 30/20 GHz band. For this purpose, satellite diversity (Sat. D)system and site diversity (SD) system are introduced. By using those proposed diversity systems, network availabilities and reliability of the network can be improved. As an example, estimated MEO satellite system can be confirmed 0.17% of unavailability value can be accomplished.
