Abstract(in English) We, the 720P actual proof test working group carried out video subjective assessment test for 720P video format with using real time MPEG codec. The 720P video format is one of the BS digital satellite broadcasting video format. It is stated here about the establishment of the working group, the selection of the equipment and the image for 720P format, the actual subjective assessment method and the evaluation result. As a result of the subjective assessment test, the bit rate of 720P which satisfies a broadcasting requirement condition is necessary more than 18Mbps.
