| Abstract(in English) | The digitalization by MPEG2 is being rapidly introduced into moving picture systems. It is necessary for the optimization of the system to make the relations between the picture quality and system parameters such as bit-rate clear. Since the study has been mainly carried on with still pictures in the analog systems, there are few results of moving pictures. Then we need basic researches of digital picture quality by the subjective assessment. This report describes about the recent studies on the subjective assessment technology of digital picture quality. |
