Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to understand the multipath wave propagation structures in mobile communications, it is most effective to estimate the signal parameters (DOAs etc.) of the individual incoming waves. Recently, the ESPRIT estimator receives our interest because of its high resolution and high computational efficiency. However, it is not devised basically for the real-time algorithm. In this paper, therefore, the Recursive 2D-ESPRIT based on QR decomposition is presented which can estimate the signal parameters recursively and in real time. Also, this algorithm features utilizing the mean eigenvalue decomposition method to pair the estimated DOAs of each wave. Some computer simulation results are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm in terms of estimation accuracy and convergence rate.
