Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In mobile and indoor wireless communications, it is of considerable importance to estimate and analyze the multipath propagation structures. For the purpose, a high-resolution estimator is required which can retrieve simultaneously the signal parameters (DOA, TOA, etc.) of individual incoming waves. Recently, multi-dimensional Unitary ESPRIT attracts much attention as a such estimator. However, this type of estimator imposes great restrictions on the array configurations because it is based on the Unitary ESPRIT. In this paper, the multi-dimensional Standard ESPRIT is proposed which employs the mean eigenvalue decomposition method for pairing the estimated signal parameters. Some computer simulation results show the successful performance and characteristics of the proposed estimator.
