Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a triple frequency base station antenna for cellular mobile radios. For PDC systems using the frequency bands of 0.9/1.5GHz, the beam width in the horizontal plane is employed 120°. Other, the beam width of IMT-2000 systems of 2GHz band is 60°. For a manufactured proposal antenna, we measured return loss and radiation pattems at each frequency bands. As a result, return loss are obtained all less than -15dB at each frequency bands. The radiation patterns are similar to calculated pattems. In addition, we also show how to make a radio zone structure and method of the antenna arrangement using the triple frequency antennas and 2GHz resonant antennas.
