Abstract(in English) In order to design an array antenna consisting of transverse slots in the image plane of an image NRD guide using the design method for waveguide slot arrays, the normalized impedance of the transverse slot needs to be known. This paper discusses a method for determining the normalized impedance of a transverse slot in the image plane of the image NRD guide using measurements of standing wave ratio. Moreover, the finite-difference time-domain technique is employed to determine the normalized impedance and good agreement is obtained with measured results.
