Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The carrier frequency of received signals and oscillating frequency of local oscillator should be compared under AFC in PSK signal system. The cross product frequency discriminator is presented as the circuit discriminating between two input signal frequencies. The analog discriminator does not work on the frequency control under the continuous wave operation because of phase locking. So, we transformed this analog discriminator circuit into digitalized one for the purpose of obtaining stable, high gain, and the adapting purpose. The performance of AFC circuit using the digital discrirminator where the carrier frequency is 10.7MHz and the symbol rate is 64kb/s was measured and analyzed. Experimented results show that the frequency error was repressed 1/20 in BPSK signal transmission.
