Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report compares the measured results of scattering coefficient, resonant frequency of a microstrip antenna with the calculated values by electromagnetic field simulators, which include HFSS , Strata and Ensemble developed by Ansoft Co., and Micro-stripes developed by KCC Ltd. In addition, antenna gain patterns are compared between the simulators. The calculated results by Ensemble and Strata using MoM agree well with the measured results within 0.5% and the loci of scattering parameters also agree with the measured locus. The calculated results by Micro-stripes using TLM and HFSS using FEM agree with the measured results within 2% and 3% respectively. However the loci of scattering parameters deviate from the measured locus.
