Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposed a simplified system for observing ecology of animals of using Geo-Stationary satellites. The salient features of the proposed method are to utilize three Geo-Stationary satellites and simple FM tone signal transmitted from animal for position detemination of observing animal. The proposed method enables to realize the global observing ecology of animals by using a simplified terminal installed at observation animal with small size, light weight and low power consumption. The computer simulation is carried out to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method under the assumption of realistic parameters for terminal installed at animal and Geo-Stationary satellite.
