A Study on Non-directed Line-of-Sight Indoor Optical Wireless Communication System using PPM/CDMA

Abstract(in English) Code division multiple access(CDMA) scheme is a current subject of great interest as a multiple access scheme for indoor optical wireless communication system. In This paper, we discuss the performance of line-of-sight indoor optical wireless communication system using PPM/CDMA scheme. At first, we evaluate the BER performance of conventional PPM/CDMA system and show that the effect of the interference much degrades the performance of conventional PPM/CDMA system. And next, in order to compensate the effect of interference, we propose the multiple cell system and evaluate the BER and throughput performance of proposed system.
